Using editing skills honed from working for over a decade in Hollywood for companies like HBO and Lifetime, she created a video portrait of her son's first year as an intimate gift for her husband, family, and for Jacob to watch when he was older.

She realized after watching her son touch his toes for the first time, take his first steps and speak his first words, that everyone should be given the gift of exploring their own family's rich and vivid life experiences...and that modern life is so busy that many families forget the moments that make life so special, no matter how hard they try not to.
